but I don’t actually feel like revamping the service nor work on a back-end or whatever… *sigh*

Now, we’ve experienced some heavy nerve-breaking downtime since yesterday. It started when the technical team was working on maintenance of your server and things went down the hill… literally.
Anyway, after over 12 hours of downtime I think we’re back and fine. I’m still checking stuff here and there but nothing seems to be lost or broken. I can breathe again… omg.
I’ll get a new backup today though it doesn’t seem all necessary, I like being on the safe side though so just making sure everything goes as smoothly as possible it always good isn’t it?
I deeply apologize, dear hostees, this matter was out of my hands and I had no control over it but on the bright side everything looks shinny again!

I’m trying to work the fastest as possible on the new hosting service. The beta version is slowly being coded and I’ve already worked on the main packages. I’ll still have a few slots open for free hosting with a 5MB space and 25MB bandwidth though i’m not sure of the modality just yet.
And yes, new pacakges will be paid hosting. Since I’m not really looking to make money out of this but just pay bills, it will only have a counted amount of slots open this to guarantee less troubles on both hosted and hostee sides and a good server performance as well.
The first package will count with a 600MB space and 6GB bandwidth and should cost 15-18 $/Y without domain and 25 $/Y with domain registration.
The second package will be of 1GB space and 10GB bandwidth and should cost 25 $/Y without domain and 35 $/Y with domain registration.
I consider this a pretty good deal though I might make some adjustments if required. This said, my current hostees will remain with the same details and no charges will apply so you don’t have to worry about that
This said, the hiatus at Wanderer will remain until I launch the new service. Thank you so much for your time!

Application form is still down until further notice ^_^ I’ve recently taken care of AFL Secret Santa and it’s going to request a lots of time to handle plus other stuff. I’ll take off the Hiatus state starting January.

The biggest announcement concerns Wanderer, I’d like to focus on under-development projects as well as a recently renewed writing inspiration thus the Hosting service will be temporary put on hold (Hiatus). Although this doesn’t affect my current hostees it also means that pending applications will be taken down as well as the join form.
Note: if you are currently hosted and place a request this shouldn’t be a trouble at all, this only affect new applications and at least up to the end of the year ^_^ thank you so much for the comprehension.

Now that I’m pretty much finishing with this semester I’ll start the “hostee clean-up”, which aim to check on my current hostees and see if everybody is working within the Hosting service parameters. It also means that if an account is not being used/updated and the owner doesn’t contact me or went MIA, it will be removed. I’m usually against removal for such causes but it also saddens me to not be able to give someone else a chance when the one I gave is not being used as it should. So yeah, like a famous proverb says “warned war doesn’t kill” so make sure to reply if I send an email.
This check will run since September 15th to 22nd.
Now, the check will be developing as follow:

Two days of delay. Sorry, the flu is taking over my body and yesterday night I collapsed while trying to finish a TC lol…. speaking of work obsesses.
Anyway… backup details as usual.
And, as I’ll never get tired to say it over and over.
Reminder : Applicants that do not meet the Terms of Usage and Rules requirements will not be accepted and their application will be disregarded.
Also, as soon I get over the flu and most probably finish this semester, I’ll start an hostees check.
Thus, if you site has been unactive for over 2 months+ you’ll get a reminder/warning message which will have to be replied within 7 days/1week. Reply failure to this notice will earn you another one to be answered within 3 days.
Finally, if after the two notices I still don’t get a reply, the account will be suspended and deleted. Sincerely, I give pretty much green-card to all my hostees withing the agreed parameters and lately I noticed some have been neglected, so I think it’s time to get back on the right path
